Project objective
To create an adjoining dining room and sitting room that served the needs of a busy young family of six as a multi-functional family living space.
During the day the dining room can be used as a play/art room for the kids, as well as for family meals, or a more formal dining space. The siiting room is similarly relaxed and suitable for all kinds of socialising.

Renovation detail
The starting point was chosing a colour scheme that injected warmth and contrast. This, combined with hard-wearing wood flooring unified the two rooms as one space.
Rich blue and orange accents in the paintwork and feature wallpaper worked in conjunction with blackboard walls for happy kids.
Bold feature lighting, lamps and prints continued the clean lines and contemporary feel.
