To create an inviting and sophisticated sitting room, filled with rich, vibrant colours and textiles.
The brief was somewhere that the client could hang out with her teenage sons for impromptu movie nights as well as being suitable for other entertaining.

Renovation detail
The starting point was the chimney breast of richly decorative citrus-patterned wallpaper against dark blue paintwork.
A brace of antique mirrors with gold frames and contemporary lighting with gold accents created an eclectic, decadent feel which continued with the lush mustard and rust velvet seating.
A profusion of plants and linen-covered armchairs with pale patterned blinds kept the mood fresh.
